Do you have the right disinfecting tools on hand?
Lots of cleaning crews have been busy with their disinfecting buckets over the past few days. According to CNN, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that more than 600 cruise passengers were exposed to the norovirus during their trip. Passengers that fell ill during their journey were asked to stay in their rooms as the cruise crews worked quickly to disinfect the public areas to prevent the germs from spreading. Unfortunately, the news provider reports a cause may never be identified.
Similarly in not taking any chances, a Fox News affiliate in Kansas City reported that a local school was completely sanitized over night after more than 45 students fell ill. The news provider reports officials narrowed down the problem to one specific classroom.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the norovirus is a fast-moving illness, and it’s important to disinfect any surface of an affected area as quickly as possible to keep the bacteria from spreading further.
